It all started with our CTO, Torkel Öhman, and a large Swedish B2B e-commerce business. The company had plenty of digital agencies to run the ads, but there was limited time for the many tasks that needed to be done and steep goals that needed to be met. So they did what many people would do: run a test. The test was to hire a group of students to run the daily operations in their Google ads account—no prior experience, just clear instructions—and the results were astonishing. The students outperformed seasoned agencies because they had one major advantage: time. They simply spent more hours optimizing the accounts. This sparked a question: if time is key, wouldn’t SEM be perfect for automation? The answer was a yes, and from that moment, Amanda AI was born.

1. Campaign setup and management

Setting up campaigns manually can be tedious, but with Amanda AI, the setup is simple. We designed and built the machine to manage multiple campaign types across platforms, currently supporting Google, Meta, and Bing. Whether it’s Search, Shopping, Performance Max, or DSA, feed, stories, and reels, we ensure your campaigns are performing the best they can. Whether you’ll start fresh and let Amanda AI set up new campaigns or use our tool to optimize your existing ones, we ensure every element is performance-ready.

Fun fact: Amanda AI has over 500 clients managing more than 1800 ad accounts on 4 continents and has made closer to 7 billion optimizations since the start of 2018.

There are two ways to set up campaigns with Amanda AI

a) Create campaigns with our crawler

We’ll crawl your website and build everything from scratch, building a campaign structure that’ll set you up for success. With this setup, Amanda AI takes plenty of manual tasks off your hands.

  • Automatically create Google Shopping feeds, DSA feeds, ad groups, keywords, and even parts of your ad copy.
  • Generating a base for your campaign structure that adapts over time based on your preferences and performance.
  • Crawling your site every night, local time, ensuring your campaigns stay up-to-date with changes like stock levels, copy, images, and more.

If you want to control your campaigns further, you can limit our crawler to specific parts of your site—for example, crawling only /products while excluding /products/shoes. A pretty neat feature that’ll make your life easier.

b) Optimize existing campaigns

If you already have a campaign structure you love, Amanda AI can take over your current campaigns and optimize your existing setup. It’s up to you to decide whether we should maintain the same structure or let Amanda AI adjust it for maximum efficiency. All these options can be found when logging in to Amanda AI.

 2. Data sources and targeting

Amanda AI takes the guesswork out of targeting by using first-party data, historical campaign performance, and market trends to identify patterns like seasonal spikes or purchasing behavior while refining audience targeting. Amanda AI easily connects to GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Bing Ads, and Search Console. This gives you flexibility in testing different strategies for your paid ads while ensuring your ads reach the right people at the right time and at the best price.

4. Feed and keyword management

Amanda AI automates the creation and management of shopping feeds and keyword lists with several different levels of keyword mining. Ranging from broad to narrow, depending on your need for control, you can combine rules to ensure that you follow a certain structure in ad groups, or you can let Amanda AI test its way freely for the best results, balancing control and results. Amanda AI will save you countless hours no matter what you choose to run.

6. Budget pacing and bid strategy

Amanda AI doesn’t just allocate your budget to campaigns—it optimizes, and shuffles around your ad spend to the placements where it makes the most sense to spend. How? By using advanced sequential decision optimization and machine learning, the machine continuously adjusts bids and reallocates resources to maximize performance. Every dollar works harder, delivering results without needing constant manual intervention.

Automatically shuffle budgets between platforms with the cross-platform budget allocator

We thought it would remove a lot of stress from all of you working hands-on in the ad platforms, so we built a very good budget allocator that works across platforms and campaigns. Amanda AI is the first tool that takes your budget headache seriously. Through advanced cross-platform systems, we can predict where your marketing budget is best spent. This is incredibly helpful if you run ads on several platforms but do not love spending hours trying to compare the apples and pears—that is platform analytics. We currently support Google, Meta, and Bing, with more platforms and channels to come.

You can create a completely new campaign with Amanda AI with our crawler, or you can make Amanda AI inherit an existing campaign of yours. Both options are possible, depending on your product and strategy.

💬 Can I control certain campaign settings, like bid strategies or creative content?

Amanda AI will automate most optimization, but there are plenty of features you can choose to turn on and off. You can also upload your own copy and creatives or let our crawler pull them from your website.

💬 How does Amanda AI ensure my campaigns align with my business goals, like strict ROAS or CPA targets?

No problem. You simply set your tCPA or tROAS in Amanda AI.

💬 What platforms does Amanda AI currently support, and are you adding more?

We’re working on expanding our offer, but currently (as of January 2025), we offer Google, Meta, and Bing.

Amanda AI always optimizes your campaigns the best it can. But it’s machine learning, not magic. If the demand for your product is low, it will reflect on your results. 💬 Does Amanda AI reduce my ad spend, or does it just make my current spend more efficient?

Amanda AI is great at ensuring your money is spent where it matters most. If allowed, you can let Amanda AI shuffle your budget between campaigns and platforms, always looking for the best place to spend it.

💬 How long does it take to see measurable results—weeks, months, or longer to fully optimize campaigns?

It depends on the state of your account before starting Amanda AI, but generally, we ask businesses to give us 3 months for full effect.

 

Onboarding questions:

💬 How does onboarding work, and how long does it take?

Once you have decided to start using Amanda AI, onboarding is quite fast. We’ll sign a contract that you’re happy with before you’ll get access to your Amanda AI portal where you’ll be able to authorize access to your ads account. After that we get started on your campaigns!

💬 What happens if I want to pause or change my campaigns?

Amanda AI was built to be flexible. If you want to pause a campaign or make any changes to your setup, you can easily do so by contacting us or logging into your Amanda AI account.

💬 Is there support available if I have questions or need help?

Depending on your service level, you may or may not have a dedicated CSM. Either way, you can always reach out to us for help. We leave no one behind.

💬 Does Amanda AI integrate with tools like GA4, Search Console, or CRM systems?

Amanda AI doesn’t integrate with CRM systems, but we do integrate with GA4, Search Console, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Ads. We can also integrate with other platforms like Matomo if you’re not using GA4.

💬 How secure is my data with Amanda AI?

Amanda AI is a data processor, which means we don’t store any of your data. You can safely use Amanda AI without even updating your privacy policy.
