Nordsjö Idé & Design: Search that moves with demand

The Keyword demand in home improvement shifts constantly. Nordsjö Idé & Design and WPP Media stopped chasing keywords manually and let Amanda AI do the mining.

Background

Nordsjö Idé & Design sells paint and everything that surrounds a painting project. That puts the brand in one of the broadest search landscapes there is: color, technique, surfaces, tools, rooms, seasons, and every question a person asks before they buy a single tin.

Search demand in that category does not sit still. What people look for changes with the weather, the season, and whatever project they have decided to start this weekend.

Challenge

Keeping a paid search account optimized across a category this broad means staying close to changes in demand. The keywords performing well today may not be the ones that matter next, so the ad spend needs to adapt as those patterns change.

Results

Amanda AI ran continuous keyword mining, identifying and generating relevant keywords based on performance and search volume, while reallocating budget as demand and performance changed.

Over the measured period, conversions increased by 85% and CVR by 52%, while CPA fell by 26%. The increase in conversion volume therefore came with stronger conversion efficiency and a lower acquisition cost, rather than one being traded for the other.
